Description: Instituted in 1961, one of six management institutes set up by the government of India. An autonomous institution, its diploma is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as comparable to a university MBA. Usual admission requirements are a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and an admission test.
Some Indian institutions award class on last year; some on honours courses; some do not count failed/repeated courses. We calculate average on all marks/grades. Examinations held at end of each term (3 terms to an academic year).
