Every year the Graduate Student Collaborative (GSC) helps the Graduate School put together a main day of orientation activities, the New Graduate Student Welcome. In addition, we hold a number of other events during Graduate Welcome Week. All events are free and open to graduate students and their families and friends unless indicated otherwise. Campus Hot Spots Tour
Join UW-Madison's VIP tour guides for an introduction to our 935-acre campus and the hot spots that every grad student should know about! Meet at the Lincoln Statue in front of Bascom Hall. This event is jointly sponsored by the Multicultural Graduate Network (MGN). |

First GSC Friday Social of the Year
Come mingle and make new friends with incoming and returning graduate students while relaxing at the Memorial Union Terrace overlooking beautiful Lake Mendota. Look for the red GSC balloon near the Rathskellar and the Union Theater steps. |
