Ropes course description from the Adventure Learning Programs (ALPs) website:
Ropes course workshops are appropriate for any group, regardless of mission or level of experience. Ropes course workshops actively focus on the growth of individuals and groups in a location that pushes beyond the indoor, campus atmosphere. The daylong workshop enhances personal relationships, strengthens a sense of belonging and ownership and challenges group members to support each other in an adventurous setting. The ropes course features challenges such as a climbing wall, giant ladder and power pole. Through these exciting and adventurous activities, groups are challenged physically, mentally and emotionally.
