Ethics are fundamental to all academic research. They foster the trust necessary for complex institutions of modern research to function. Additionally, research efforts are governed by a host of stringent rules and guidelines that can be onerous and confusing, at times. Integrating Research Ethics and Scholarship (IRES) is an initiative, sponsored by the Graduate School, that offers novice and seasoned researchers and scholars educational opportunities and resources that reflect best practices in ethics education and scholarly integrity.
Library workshops help you become more efficient and effective in your research, and address topics such as finding information, using citation managers such as EndNote or Refworks, publishing your research, and copyright. You may also contact the subject librarian for your department for an individual research consultation.
