About the Library and Information Studies Program
Our program combines professional field experience with academic theories and an extensive technology curriculum to prepare you for an ever-changing information world. Strong relationships with Madison-area libraries, museums, non-profits and commercial organizations give you a wide array of practicum and part-time work opportunities. Many available online programs can be completed almost entirely online with all online programs offering at least 50 percent or more of the program work online. Some online programs have an on-campus component that is often designed to accommodate working schedules.
