About the Kinesiology Program

The mission in Kinesiology is to research, teach and apply knowledge of movement, exercise and human occupation with the goal of enhancing human health, productivity, and quality of life. Research shows that regular physical activity reduces the risk of developing or dying from some of the leading causes of illness and death, so further study of movement, exercise and occupation could dramatically impact the short-term and long-term health and wellness of individuals and groups.
