The Multicultural Graduate Network Fireside Chat event is an opportunity for beginning scholars to engage with a faculty member on campus in an intimate setting. Faculty members present information on their own research and/or a provocative topic to stimulate critical discussion. In previous years, guest speakers have challenged traditional conceptions of academia and academic careers.
