New series highlights the graduate students behind UW2020 initiatives

Graduate students play a key role in research across campus. The Graduate School is telling just some of their stories with a new series of profiles featuring the graduate students working on UW2020 grant-funded projects.

The UW2020 initiative aims to stimulate and support highly innovative and groundbreaking research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. UW2020 grants support research projects that are high-risk, high-impact, and transformative.

Now, in the fourth year of the UW2020 initiative, the impact of this work is becoming clear. Some of these projects have secured further funding, while others have created new tools to advance their fields. And these are just some of the stories.
