How did Delta prepare for the job market?
I haven’t gotten a teaching/academic job yet, but I’m glad I have the start of a teaching portfolio. Having a peer-mentored research portfolio makes me feel more confident for the job market.
How did Delta help you become a better teacher and mentor?
I feel equipped to solve teaching problems. I feel better equipped to make my teaching inclusive and reflect on these experiences. I learned a lot about how to provide good feedback on writing and on how to design writing assignments. My mentoring skills have improved and the research mentor training contributed to that.
