The Graduate School has published its 2022-23 Annual Report detailing the organization’s accomplishments and highlighted initiatives from the past year.
Led by Dean William J. Karpus, the Graduate School provides administrative leadership for graduate education on campus, assisting UW–Madison master’s and doctoral students through application, enrollment, and commencement while also providing support to graduate faculty and staff.
This year’s Annual Report includes an introduction to the Graduate School’s new strategic plan for graduate education at UW–Madison, which was created with feedback from students, faculty, and staff across campus. The plan identifies six strategic priorities for the Graduate School in partnership with other schools, colleges, departments, and central units that also serve graduate students.
“As we implement the plan, we look forward to collaborating with many partners across campus,” Karpus says.
