Join us in celebration of the Bouchet Society’s decade at UW–Madison at the 10th Anniversary Symposium on Nov. 15, 2019. The mission of the Bouchet Graduate Honor Society is to recognize outstanding scholarly achievement and promote diversity and excellence in doctoral education and the professoriate.

The symposium will feature a keynote by Dr. Pero Dagbovie, University Distinguished Professor of History and Associate Dean in the Graduate School at Michigan State University, as well as poster sessions, research presentations, and networking opportunities.

Agenda:

11 am – 12:30 pm: Poster session featuring UW–Madison undergraduate and graduate students
12:30 – 1 pm: Lunch
1 – 2:45 pm: CLASS presentations by Bouchet scholars
2:45 – 3 pm: Coffee break
3 – 4:30 pm: Keynote by Dr. Pero Dagbovie
4:30 – 6 pm: Reception

Poster session:

The UW–Madison chapter of the Bouchet society will host a poster session Nov. 15 to promote undergraduate and graduate students who exemplify the spirit and example of Dr. Bouchet. The chapter invited students from all disciplines to submit a poster abstract. Submissions were due Nov. 1. Poster presentations will take place in the morning of Nov. 15, with set up beginning at 10 a.m. and the session ending at 12:30 p.m.
