Course Description

Kinesiology 508, Translating Educational Research to Teaching Practice, is a 2-credit discussion-based course for graduate students interested in learning to develop teaching practices that are based on teaching and learning research findings. Students will explore research in teaching and learning from educational psychology, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and other learning related fields, and prepare to apply those findings to their teaching practice by crafting an evidence-based teaching philosophy statement and an evidence-based teaching practice plan. Enrollment is limited to 12 students.

While this course is not offered through Delta, it counts towards a Delta Certificate. To join, you must enroll in Kinesiology 508.
