Course Description

Join us to explore how to effectively use active learning in a variety of teaching and learning contexts. This course will take a “learning by doing” approach, with opportunities to examine, experience, and try out various active learning instructional methods with the college classroom as our laboratory. From small to large courses and across disciplines, we will learn from other instructors about how they use these approaches within a variety of learning spaces. You will leave this course with ideas, experience with, and plans for how to use active learning in your own future teaching. This course is intended for graduate students and postdocs in any discipline.
