Graduate School welcomes the Delta Program

Virtual groups facilitate connection for graduate students
A series of online graduate student groups focusing on topics like prelim preparation, the job market, and work-life balance is giving graduate students a chance to connect with others outside of their program and feel a sense of shared experience during a year that many find isolating.
Welcome Week is just around the corner
Each year, the Graduate School welcomes new and continuing graduate students to campus with a series of events and workshops designed to support success in the upcoming academic year. Welcome Week kicks off Monday, Aug. 26, 2019.
Design thinking, time management, and mental wellbeing among Welcome Week topics
The Graduate School is gearing up for the next academic year, but not without a proper welcome for new and returning students alike. Welcome Week kicks off Monday, August 27 with a keynote speech by School of Human Ecology Dean Soyeon Shim. Dean Shim will share her unique perspective on designing one’s life for success, followed by a reception and refreshments. Check out this year’s Welcome Week highlights!
